I've been assigned to just about any kind of news and sporting event you can imagine.
From wildfires in northern California to the Super Bowl in Miami, from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans to chasing a convicted felon in Greece, from the Republican National Convention in Houston to the Winter Olympics in Norway, from wildfires in the Sierras to the Oscars in Hollywood, I 've shot it all.

Work History
1997- Present Freelance Videographer - whachalookinat productions
Primary freelance entertainment videographer for Fox News affiliate entertainment coverage. Duties have included Fox's primary camera position at the Oscars, Grammy's, EMMY's, movie premiere red carpets, American Idol, SYTYCD, X Factor and BTS shoots on the set of Fox shows. Have also been assigned news shoots involving 12 days in New Orleans covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, other freelance projects have included principal videographer for a documentary on the Maloof family (former owners of the Sacramento Kings) produced by IM3 Entertainment and DP/Videographer on "Wise Guys," a documentary exploring the lives of six people trying to make a living from gambling. Client list also includes Kawasaki (produced, directed and shot a 12 minute jet ski training video), Invision, Inside Edition, Bloomberg, The Discovery Channel, Fannie Mae, World Scholar-Athlete Games, World Series of Fantasy Baseball, a Kenny Rogers music video and Gay Rosenthal Productions. Fluent in the use of the LiveU and live shot technology.
2002-2005 Videographer - Celebrity Justice
A newsmagazine show produced and syndicated by AOL/Time Warner TelePictures with clearance in over 90% of the country. Responsibilities included coverage of daily assigned stories involving notable people and the legal system. Among the celebrities covered were the Michael Jackson and Robert Blake trials, Nick Nolte, Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson, Phil Spector and Tom Sizemore.
1995-Present Director/Videographer - The Legal Edge
A consumer news feature produced and shot primarily in Sacramento and Los Angeles, CA and syndicated nationally in as many as 60 television markets. The Legal Edge used local locations and actors to help make complex legal issues viewer friendly and usable. The show won 2 EMMY's (Best Videography and Best Specialty Reporting) as well as having been nominated for 20 additional EMMY awards; won the RTNDA Best Specialty Reporting award 4 years in a row and in the Associated Press Best Regularly Scheduled Feature Segment category and received an honorable mention from the National Press Club.
1985-1997 News Videographer - KXTV, Sacramento, CA
Responsibilities included the shooting and editing of daily assigned news stories. Examples include coverage of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, following a convicted felon to Greece, the 1994 Republican National Convention, 3 Super Bowls and other professional sporting events and breaking news events including wildfire and earthquake coverage throughout the state. Other duties involved the engineering of live shots.
